Admission Procedure

Admission Procedure

CNIS begins the academic year on the first working day of June. Our School offers admission to PRE-KG, KG1, KG2 and Grades I to XII, subject to eligibility and the availability of seats.

Obtaining the application form

Students from ICSE, CBSE and State streams also can join IGCSE syllabus. Parents who wish to apply for admission into PRE-KG, KG1, KG2 and Grades I to IX & XI should obtain the application form from our school website. The application form can be given online only (with a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000/-). Grades X & XII (IGCSE, AS & A Level) may contact the school office. Students who have secured at least 70% in the previous final examinations are eligible to apply.

Criteria for the submission of online application form

Use Online application tab on the Website and register. The school will contact you to schedule an interaction and/or online assessment test (online assessment tests for English, Science and Mathematics are required for Grades I - VII). Bring your child at the scheduled time for the interaction and/or assessment test. Upon completion of the interaction and/or assessment test, the school will contact you if your child has been offered a seat. Relevant documents should be brought to the school to complete the admission process and the required fee should be paid to secure a seat.

The downloaded application form must be submitted at the School Office at the time of interview. The following documents should accompany the form:

  1. Certified copy of School Report of the previous academic year (if applicable).
  2. Certified copy of the child’s Birth Certificate.
  3. Copy of the T.C.

Original documents of the submitted photocopies should be made available upon request for verification.

The mere submission of an application form does not guarantee admission.

After verification of the documents and payment of the fee, admission is confirmed

Age criteria for admission

The stipulated age limit may be relaxed at the discretion of the School Admission Committee based on past academic achievements and performance in our testing procedures, provided the student has graduated from a recognized school.

Confirmation of admission

On receipt of acceptance of admission, parents have to pay the fees within the specified date. The following documents should also be submitted:

  1. A certified copy of the Caste Certificate (if the student belongs to SC / ST / OBC)
  2. Transfer Certificate / Progress Report from the school last attended (if applicable).
  3. If for any reason the Transfer Certificate cannot be produced at the time of admission, it must be produced on or before the commencement of the academic session.

Fee Payment

For details about the payment of fees, please contact CNIS office.

Please note:

Assessment tests are carried out by our trained education team which works with students to ensure that the curriculum meets each child’s needs and abilities.

Doing well in an assessment test does not guarantee a seat in the school. Seats are offered based on the details of academic performance furnished in the former school reports, availability of seat(s) and personal interaction.
